Ana Martín Méndez learned to write when she was a girl hand-in-hand with her father, who as a hobby used to write letters in verse to a friend. In this way, with the occasional sonnet and lots of laughs, she learned how beautiful it was to string words together. Since then, she hasn’t passed a day without writing. With the years, she chose journalism as a career, and in that field encountered the best teachers imaginable, from Carmen Rico-Godoy to Alfonso Rojo. She eventually took a deeper interest in medical journalism, and has published a number of specialized books.
